Synopsis
The vessel is Infinity, a 120-foot hand-built sailboat, crewed by a band of miscreants. The journeying, an viii,000 mile Pacific crossing from New Zealand to Patagonia, with a stop in Antarctica. Unlike all the other boats heading to the Antarctic ocean, Infinity is no ice-reinforced super-yacht crewed by professional sailors; rather, Infinity lives in the moment and sails on a whim. What can be found in abundance on board is blood, sweat, enthusiasm, chance tolerance, disdain for authority, and an ample supply of alcohol - all in all a mad voyage of reckless hazard merely for the sheer joy of information technology. Forth the way the crew volition boxing a hurricane of water ice in the Ross Bounding main, aid the radical environmental group Ocean Shepherd in their fight with illegal whalers, and tear every sheet they accept. At the heart of their journeying is a quest for awe and a sense of wonder with the raw power of the natural world.

Interesting Travelogue
A grouping of rather irresponsible people, some with small children, ring together to take a rather random trip to Antarctica and then to Chile. Using an adventure gunkhole its original builder never completed, they build it upwards and scrape up money to make the trip. Merely the crew cannot exist too irresponsible-the journey requires slap-up know-how and very difficult work and will go into very unsafe waters indeed, where all sorts of possible dangers tin look.
The movie concentrates mostly on the coiffure itself and how they take to work and know exactly what to do and when to do it. Those who are expecting a lot of nature photography are going to exist disappointed. Only the picture show succeeds in making the signal that being a gypsy is definitely not a life of ease.

Absolutely brilliant. Very rarely levee reviews but I don't empathise why this has soo few?! It'due south fantastic. Piece of cake to watch. Really worth your time. Soo much better than the contempo stone climbing documentaries etc... I go bored on those and think, hmmm maybe I should commit to a real pic instead. I guarantee with this documentary type motion-picture show, you will feel sucked in from 5 minutes until the very stop.
Absolutely astonishing, how this isn't trending I seriously don't know....

Simply incredible. If you accept an unquenchable thirst for adventure Sea Gypsies is your prefect film. This documentary completely changed my life. Watched it in one case, vi months later on I was living on SV Infinity.
